The Lift Maintenance Laborer is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the lift maintenance team during summer operations. This role primarily involves operating lifts, assisting with maintenance tasks under supervision, and participating in on-the-job training to develop technical skills. The position requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions while contributing to team goals and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

  • Drivers License preferred
  • Lift Operation experience required
  • mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Lift 50 lbs regularly
  • work outside in all weather
  • ability to work at heights over 50 feet
  • experience with power and hydraulic tools and ATVs preferred
  • High School diploma or Equivalent is preferred
  • 4 months lift operation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate chairlifts for lift maintenance teams
  • Complete tasks as assigned by the Lift Maintenance Technicians under supervision
  • Perform general manual labor tasks, including but not limited to, digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop lift maintenance and technical skills.
  • Follow all safety procedures while working around lift equipment, tools, and elevated structures.
  • Perform physically demanding labor in outdoor conditions, including lifting, climbing, and repetitive movement tasks
