About The Position
Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry and a family-run manufacturing and engineering company, is looking to recruit qualified Lift Engineers. This role involves maintaining and repairing various types of lifts and stairlifts, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards. The position offers autonomy, allowing engineers to manage on-site works and build client relationships. The job covers key stations across Reading, Slough, and Didcot.
Requirements
- An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Nice To Haves
- Comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a lift engineer or lift service engineer
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of lifts and stairlifts
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
- Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.
