Lift Engineer
About The Position
Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry and a market-leading family-run business, is looking to recruit qualified Lift Engineers. This job covers key stations across Birmingham. The role involves conducting maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of lifts and stairlifts, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards. Lift Engineers will also perform effective risk assessments, maintain site log cards, and participate in an on-call rota. As the face of Stannah, you will manage on-site works and build relationships with client staff and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer.
- A valid UK driving licence.
Nice To Haves
- Comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of lifts and stairlifts
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
- Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.
