About The Position
This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. The role involves maintaining merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto and from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. Additionally, the Lift Driver will provide basic maintenance to equipment, ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage, and cutting shrink wrap as needed. The role also includes organizing the warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns, upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight. Requirements
- Must be a current Walmart associate.
- Ability to manage freight flow.
- Ability to move, scan, and handle freight manually and/or with power equipment.
- Ability to maintain merchandise supply.
- Ability to replenish pallets.
- Ability to provide basic maintenance to equipment.
- Ability to ensure freight quality.
- Ability to process stray and damaged cases.
- Ability to inspect pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage.
- Ability to cut shrink wrap.
- Ability to organize warehouse.
- Ability to use power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns.
- Ability to upstack/downstack empty pallets.
- Ability to upstack/downstack freight.
- Must be able to work various schedules, details to be discussed during the interview process.
