About The Position

This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. The role involves maintaining merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. Additionally, the Lift Driver will provide basic maintenance to equipment, ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. The role also includes organizing the warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns, upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight. Requirements

  • Must be able to manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
  • Must be able to maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).
  • Must be able to ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage.
  • Must be able to organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage trailers), upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight.
