About The Position

As a LIFT Coach (Finance, Education, Employment & Well-Being), you will partner one-on-one with parents and caregivers (our LIFT members) to help them achieve their goals related to financial mobility, career growth, education, and overall well-being. This is more than a part-time job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team that values equity, inclusion, and the power of lived experience. LIFT Coaches work in a supportive, learning-oriented environment where everyone contributes to building a stronger, more equitable future. We offer a flexible, hybrid schedule generally up to 2 days/week in the office to meet with members and colleagues, and to participate in events. Must be able to meet in person on Wednesday’s weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment for members and their families
  • Build trusted coaching relationships with 26–32 parents/caregivers
  • Guide members through goal setting, action planning, and progress monitoring
  • Conduct follow-up research to support members' goals
  • Connect members with relevant community resources and services
  • Help recruit and retain members through outreach and regular communication
  • Participate in regular team and All-Staff meetings
  • Provide valuable input to improve LIFT’s coaching model, technical assistance, and policy work
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure member confidentiality
  • Support one-time member needs or projects as needed
