About The Position

Everly at Wellen Park is seeking a driven individual to join their team as a Lifestyle Director. This role focuses on enriching the quality of life and enhancing the vibrancy of the community for residents by managing activities, special events, workshops, classes, communications, and resident connections. The position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in coordinating and promoting recreational activities and programs, volunteer programs, and/or fundraising events.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • General knowledge of computer systems and software, registration processes, policies and procedures, equipment, materials, and products.
  • Public speaking skills.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, participate, and direct in-community event set-ups.
  • High level of energy, social skills, initiative, enthusiasm, and cooperation.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in recreation, hospitality, sales, or a communication field.
  • Practical experience in planning charitable events or company social calendars.
  • Prior experience with a private club residential community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement programs, classes, and special community-wide events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Develop and manage the Activities budget, providing recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all member social events, including creating event orders, marketing, invitations, menu selection, RSVP management, billing coordination, and onsite representation.
  • Coordinate and develop an effective volunteer program by networking with community organizations, businesses, schools, and individuals.
  • Host seminars and events, including specialists, to build and encourage resident wellness and awareness in areas such as health, finance, history, and social media.
  • Create and distribute all regular resident member correspondence, including newsletters, announcements, flyers, signage, calendars, and promotions.
  • Manage the member website and social media, including updating and creating online content, distributing communication, tracking member activity, and collecting feedback.
  • Maintain the electronic membership database and hard files.
  • Track resident participation numbers to measure activity success and develop community-wide metrics.
  • Welcome new residents and conduct new resident member orientations.
  • Assist the sales team with prospects by sharing information about community activities.
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
