About The Position

Everly at Wellen Park is seeking a driven individual to join their team as a Lifestyle Director. This role focuses on enriching the quality of life and enhancing the vibrancy of the community for residents through various activities and programs. The Lifestyle Director will be responsible for assisting with special events, workshops, classes, communications, and resident connections. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be well-prepared, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. A degree and experience in recreation, hospitality, sales, or communication, or experience in planning charitable events or company social calendars is preferred.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in coordinating and promoting recreational activities and programs, volunteer programs, and/or fund-raising events.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in recreation, hospitality, sales, or communication field.
  • Practical experience in planning charitable events or company social calendars.
  • Prior experience with a private club residential community.
  • General knowledge of computer systems and software, registration processes, policies and procedures, equipment, materials, and products.
  • Public Speaking skills.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and advanced communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, participate, and direct in-community event set-ups.
  • A high level of energy, social skills, initiative, enthusiasm, and cooperation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement programs, classes, and special community-wide events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Develop and manage the Activities budget, providing recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all member social events, including creating event orders, marketing, invitations, menu selection, RSVPs, billing coordination, and serving as the onsite representative to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Coordinate and develop an effective volunteer program by networking with community organizations, businesses, schools, and individuals.
  • Host seminars and events featuring specialists to build and encourage resident wellness and awareness in areas such as health, finance, history, and social media.
  • Create and distribute regular resident member correspondence, including monthly newsletters, club announcements, seasonal procedural announcements, flyers, signage, calendars, and promotions.
  • Act as the primary owner for all member website and social media duties, including updating and creating online content, distributing communication, tracking member activity, and collecting feedback.
  • Maintain the electronic membership database and hard files.
  • Track resident participation numbers to measure activity success and develop community-wide metrics.
  • Welcome new residents and conduct new resident member orientations.
  • Assist the sales team with prospects by showcasing the community's activities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
