About The Position

This is a unique opportunity to become a LifeSharing provider in Central Pennsylvania, welcoming a young adult woman into your home. The individual enjoys reading comic books, listening to music, and cooking, and is looking for a family that shares some of these interests. She is also interested in opportunities for swimming, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors. Animals are important to her, and she hopes to find a home where she can be around them, ideally with a dog. A long-term goal is to pursue hotel management through higher education, with plans to start at HACC early next year. The ideal provider will value connection, shared interests, and supporting personal growth, offering a calm and welcoming home with consistent routines, kindness, patience, and good humor. The individual is described as helpful, eager to support others, dependable, caring, confident in advocating for herself, focused on building independence, and motivated to learn new skills. The provider should offer a safe, supportive, and stable home, be open to sharing life experiences, and help the individual grow, participate in community life, and reach her personal goals.
