About The Position
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The YMCA will certify qualified candidates. This is a part-time position starting at $14.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Must have current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
- Must have current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Basic swim requirements must be met for training if not already certified.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
