Provide supervision and ensure safety of swimmers, enforce rules and safety guidelines, maintains a clean and safe pool environment, and provides emergency assistance. Requirements
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification
- Communication and engagement with camp staff and camper populations
- Swimming Proficiency
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and ensure safety of swimmers
- Enforce rules and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment
- Provide emergency assistance
- Supervise swimming activities
- Assess safety
- Enforce water safety rules
- Monitor activity and enforce pool rules
- Perform rescue procedures and provide first aid
- Complete facility maintenance including routine pool chemical monitoring and inspection for potential safety risks
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area
