About The Position
YMCA at Brentwood is Now Hiring for Lifeguard - Summer Seasonal. This is a seasonal position. If you’re ready to keep our pools safe, have fun while working, and make an impact, this could be the job for you!
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16
- Ability to swim at an intermediate level (check out our Prerequisite Skills Evaluation)
Nice To Haves
- No lifeguarding experience? No worries! We’ll provide all required training and certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
- Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.
- Maintain a clean and safe swimming area.
