About The Position
The Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The YMCA will certify qualified candidates. This is a part-time position that starts at $14.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Must have current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
- Must have current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Must meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
