About The Position
The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The Y will certify interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not already certified. This is a part-time position which starts at $14.00 per hour. We are looking for guards that work between the hours of 8am-4pm.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Meet basic swim requirements if not already certified.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
