Lifeguard - Weekday Daytime
About The Position
Exos is seeking a Lifeguard to help maintain a safe pool environment, prevent accidents, respond to incidents, teach swim lessons, support swim programming, and help maintain the aquatics center. The role includes teaching private and group lessons to children and adults of varying abilities. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour; actual pay may vary based on location, specialty, certifications, work experience, and business needs. Exos offers benefits to eligible full-time employees, including health insurance, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. A variety of part-time benefits may also be available, subject to eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification, or ability to obtain certification at the time of hire.
- Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, or ability to obtain them at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Maintain watch over the pool area to ensure a secure and safe environment.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Respond to injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by club policy.
- Teach private and group swim lessons to children and adults of all abilities.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and marketing swim programs.
- Assist with maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics center.
