About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring Lifeguards to help maintain a safe and enjoyable waterpark environment. Lifeguards enforce waterpark rules, remain alert to hazards, communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests, and perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary. They also assist with opening and closing waterpark rides and maintaining park cleanliness. The role calls for friendly, courteous guest service and teamwork guided by the Kalahari Promise. Candidates who are not already certified can complete a three-day certification course.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Nice To Haves

• Existing lifeguard certification; candidates without certification may complete a three-day certification course.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Participate as a team and follow the core values and service expectations in the Kalahari Promise.
• Assist with opening and closing waterpark rides and maintaining park cleanliness.
• Communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests.
• Conduct water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Stay alert and regularly inspect pools and slides for hazards or safety risks.
