About The Position

EXOS is seeking a Head Lifeguard to maintain safety and cleanliness in the Aquatics Area, provide frontline service to patrons, and support aquatics operations. The role coordinates emergency response according to the YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan, oversees lifeguard rotations and breaks, communicates schedule updates, and adjusts water features and programs to meet patron needs. The Head Lifeguard also tracks and replenishes safety supplies and assists with administrative and programming duties. Lifeguard or swim instruction coverage may be needed. The position pays $18.50–$20.40 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on site location, specialty, certifications, work experience, local wage laws, and other business needs. Requirements

Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification, or the ability to obtain it at the time of hire.
Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain them at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer service.
Coordinate emergency response efforts according to the YWCA’s Emergency Action Plan.

Adjust water features and programs to suit patron needs.
