About The Position

HealthFitness is seeking part-time Lifeguards for its aquatics team at a corporate fitness center in Neenah, Wisconsin. The role helps provide a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for members and guests using the aquatic facility. The schedule is 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekends: Monday 9 a.m.–12 p.m.; Tuesday 5:30–7:30 a.m. and 1–3 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m.–12 p.m.; Thursday 1–3 p.m.; and Friday 9 a.m.–12 p.m. Compensation is $12.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer is based on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set. Applicants must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, including CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid.
Must meet HealthFitness fitness and skill standards.
Must be dependable and alert, able to interact positively with people of all ages, and have strong customer service skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of member management systems, databases, and tools.
Must meet hiring requirements, including a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain facility rules as needed.
Respond appropriately to emergencies.
Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
Attend required staff meetings and training.
Support aquatic center needs by folding towels, cleaning, filling water machines, and inspecting the facility for safety.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
