Under the direction of the Client Services Manager, this position is responsible for connecting tenants with available resources in the community to assist with their transition back into independent living safely. The Life Skills Support Worker arranges structured assistance by networking with community supports to the tenant to help develop and maintain life skills related to time management, money management, personal hygiene, household hygiene, organizational and interpersonal communication, menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation and community access. This position will collaborate with the tenant to develop a service plan with specific goals and interventions for the transition back into community living with community supports and assistance.
