This position involves providing direct support and assistance to individuals in accordance with their service or program plans. The role focuses on aiding with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other activities of daily living. The Direct Support Life Skills Trainer is responsible for accurately documenting progress, maintaining confidentiality, and managing individuals' assets and property safely. They also play a crucial role in reporting incidents of alleged abuse or neglect and ensuring the rights of individuals are respected.
