About The Position

Join Spread Your Wings, LLC. – ILS Services as a Life Skills Coach and support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and confidence in their daily lives. This is an entry-level position with no experience needed, as training will be provided. The role is part-time initially with the expectation to transition to full-time within 3 months. Bilingual-Spanish-English speakers are preferred.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Able to work in the Orange County area (Santa Ana, Anaheim, Orange, Huntington Beach, Buena Park, Stanton, Fountain Valley, Placentia, Garden Grove)
Able to pass a background check (per state industry standards)
Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry

Nice To Haves

Bilingual-Spanish-English Speaker preferred
Behavioral health experience (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

Coach clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for your clients
Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports
Spend 90% of your time in the field with clients and 10% on admin/documentation
Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff
