About The Position
TELUS Digital is seeking people with a background in medicine, nursing, biology, pharmacy, or a related field to review AI-generated health content for accuracy and safety. Contributors fact-check medical information, verify terminology, flag potentially dangerous or incorrect advice, and help make complex medical research understandable to the general public. A subject-specific qualification exam and identity verification are required. Pay rates currently range from $20 to $50 USD per hour, with payment terms defined for each project. This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis, with contributors choosing when and how much to work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. It does not create an employment relationship with TELUS Digital.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Science, Nursing, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Native-level proficiency in the contributor’s primary language.
- Basic (B1) English proficiency to read project instructions.
- Careful attention to detail, recognizing that small details matter for medical safety.
- Pass a subject-specific qualification exam and complete identity verification.
Responsibilities
- Fact-check AI-generated health information for accuracy and currency.
- Review medical terminology, including terms for anatomy, medicines, and conditions.
- Flag health advice that appears dangerous or incorrect.
- Help rewrite complex medical research in clear, accessible language.
