About The Position

The Life Safety Officer helps protect residents, associates, and the campus at Concord Reserve. The role maintains campus security, fire and emergency procedures, safety communications, incident records, and life safety equipment. The position is part-time, scheduled every other Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Duties may occasionally include delivering meals to resident homes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of the entire campus, including parking areas.
• Maintain fire and emergency procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate safety and security protocols across the campus.
• Maintain records, statistics, and incident reports as directed.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and report them to the appropriate departments.
• Inspect and maintain life safety equipment.
• Test fire alarms, detection systems, extinguishers, and emergency call systems.
• Occasionally deliver meals to resident homes.
