About The Position

The Life Safety Officer helps maintain the safety and security of the Wesley Ridge campus, including its parking areas. The role supports fire and emergency preparedness, communicates safety protocols, maintains incident records, investigates incidents and accidents, and inspects and tests life safety equipment and systems. The position is part-time, scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of the entire campus, including parking areas.
• Maintain fire and emergency procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate safety and security protocols across the campus.
• Maintain records, statistics, and incident reports as directed.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and report them to the appropriate departments.
• Inspect and maintain life safety equipment.
• Test fire alarms, detection systems, extinguishers, and emergency call systems.
