The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate, assist and implement a full life enrichment program and volunteer program, as well as maintaining and updating on-campus communication. This role collaborates with the resident services director in the planning, implementation and facilitation of social and recreational programs, including structured individual and group activities and facilitating resident-led events. The position supports and assists in the marketing of programs, updates the MyCov Life app, and plans for and escorts off-campus events. It also coordinates with the Life Enrichment team in the volunteer program, developing and directing it through recruiting, scheduling, and coordinating volunteers. Collaboration with other departments for events like townhall and resident council meetings is also a key function, along with planning larger-scale events. The role involves updating the on-campus TV channel and utilizing other formal communication methods like newsletters and information boards. Staying current with trends in recreational programming for older adults and ensuring Covenant Living standards are met or exceeded is crucial. Additionally, the position provides welcome and orientation for new residents, updates care plans, interventions, and attends care conferences.
