About The Position

Touchmark at Coffee Creek is seeking a creative and compassionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to join their talented team. This role will enrich lives every day by assisting in the planning, creation, and implementation of an activities program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. The position offers the daily opportunity to encourage and motivate others, and to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with a social or recreational activities program in a health care setting.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding resident status and medical history.
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

• Experience working with people living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning, creation, and implementation of an activities program to meet residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.
• Encouraging and motivating residents.
• Being a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families.
• Arranging, organizing, and assisting with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs.
