About The Position

Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington's premier retirement community. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator! Must be available to work either a Saturday or a Sunday - generally 9 am - 6pm. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will enrich lives every day by assisting in the planning and implementation of an activities program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. You will have the daily opportunity to exercise your creativity and your ability to encourage and motivate others, and to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families.

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have experience working with a social or recreational activities program.
  • Have a commitment to confidentiality in respect to resident status and medical history.
  • Have an excellent driving record - No moving traffic violations in the past three years.
  • Be trained in CPR/First Aid and AIDS certified (training provided).
  • Possess the ability to work independently, without supervision.
  • Be highly flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of an activities program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs.
  • Lead games, brain games, host happy hours, parties, outings, and bingo.
  • Drive a non-CDL bus for outings.
