About The Position

The Lien Specialist is responsible for intake and setup of Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plan, Part D, and Medicaid referrals. The role includes reviewing, analyzing, and disputing correspondence from recovery contractors. It is client-facing and requires professional communication, timely responses, and excellent customer service. The position suits someone who can work in a fast-paced environment with individual accountability and team support.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and quality-focused.
• Excellent verbal and written customer service and communication skills.
• Advanced technical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed and highly motivated.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Flexible and adaptable.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Intake incoming referrals into the claims system and follow up on incomplete referrals to obtain missing information.
• Comprehensively review, analyze, and dispute assigned Conditional Payment correspondence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding in writing and verbally to inquiries, case status requests, case updates, and general subject-matter questions.
