Responsibilities

  • Working with state agencies to ensure we adhere to all requirements and meet all deadlines.
  • Procuring and maintaining licensure for American Financing Corporation Company, Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) license, as well as branch locations.
  • Components of these responsibilities include ordering MLO education, scheduling tests, assisting with the input of MLO records, analyzing and fulfilling state specific license application requirements, ordering checks for various licensing costs and monitoring license application deficiencies in NMLS.
  • Responsible for ensuring MLOs maintain current and accurate records in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Assist Licensing Manager with researching state regulations or other licensing related requests on an as needed basis.
  • The licensing specialist will also work on company DPA program research and applications.
  • Must be able to work a 8-5pm MST
