The Licensing, Rules, Regulations, and Compliance Administrator is delegated Staff Authority to influence decisions and execute rule promulgation & project management activities specific to child care licensing projects in Colorado. This position is critical to ensuring the various child care licensing projects are executed successfully and that all child care licensing project-related decisions are well organized and appropriately documented. The encumbering plans, coordinates, and implements child care licensing projects assigned by Division and/or Office leadership. This position designs systems and processes that do not currently exist to document actions and decisions associated with the various child care rule promulgation and child care licensing projects in the Division of Early Learning Licensing and Administration (DELLA). The role will utilize process improvement best practices to ensure child care licensing projects, processes, and change management activities are executed successfully. Responsibilities also include identifying problems and developing action plans to correct identified issues. This position plans and organizes critical project meetings, compiles data, and prepares management reports that influence Division and Office leadership decision-making. The Administrator regularly interacts with internal and external stakeholders. It is responsible for answering questions, providing information, and advising stakeholders on technical issues and projects related to child care licensing. Responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and implementing stakeholder feedback. This position adheres to the child care licensing rulemaking process and procedures to resolve difficult or unusual situations, influences, and creates new child care center rules when applicable.
