About The Position

Join our growing Operations team as a Licensing & Permits Coordinator! In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping construction projects on schedule by coordinating permits, inspections, and licensing requirements across the country. You'll work with municipalities, inspectors, project managers, and internal teams to ensure every project remains compliant and progresses smoothly. Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in administrative support, permitting, licensing, construction, project coordination, or compliance is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, renew, and monitor construction permit applications for residential and commercial projects nationwide.
  • Coordinate permit and inspection timelines to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Research local building codes, permit requirements, and jurisdictional regulations.
  • Communicate with city and county offices regarding permitting, inspections, and licensing requirements.
  • Track permit, inspection, and licensing statuses using internal systems.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all permits, inspections, and licensing records.
  • Assist with resolving permit-related issues that could impact project timelines.
  • Provide support and backup for the Licensing Department as needed.
  • Respond to internal questions regarding permits, inspections, and licensing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure compliance and project success.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
