King County Records & Licensing Services (RALS) is seeking experienced regulatory professionals to fill the Project/Program Manager III position, responsible for leading and supervising a team of licensing inspectors. This role ensures compliance with and enforcement of King County Code and ordinances for taxicabs, for-hire drivers, and transportation network companies (TNCs). The position involves program oversight, personnel management, and the development and implementation of county/department/division initiatives. The successful candidate will report to the Licensing Operations Manager and will play a key role in a division dedicated to regulating and enforcing the for-hire transportation industry, prioritizing passenger, driver, and public safety. This is an opportunity to lead in service excellence, focusing on continuous improvement, employee engagement, collaborative industry communication, equity, social justice, supervisory skills, and mobility innovation. The role requires preparing schedules, assigning work, overseeing inspectors, resolving customer issues, leading continuous improvement efforts, collaborating with the for-hire customer service supervisor, and fostering an atmosphere of equity and social justice.
