The Licensing & Compliance Specialist is responsible for coordinating business licenses, contractor registrations, and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions while supporting Legal and Accounting with operational compliance initiatives. This role will also assist with researching applicable state and local payroll tax, sales tax, employment registration, licensing, permitting, and jurisdictional requirements related to employees and operations working in new or temporary jurisdictions. The position supports internal teams by helping identify and summarize applicable compliance obligations before operations begin in a new state or locality. The ideal candidate will have experience in licensing administration, contractor licensing, compliance tracking, documentation management, regulatory research, and multi-jurisdictional coordination. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
