About The Position

We’re looking for a detail‑driven, people‑savvy Senior Retailer and Compliance Specialist to help keep our retailer network running smoothly, accurately, and responsibly. In this role, you’ll be the quality gatekeeper for retailer applications, the compliance compass for new partners, and the behind‑the‑scenes hero supporting Sales, Marketing, and Accounting. You’ll review applications, mentor analysts, reconcile financials, maintain databases, and help ensure retailers meet all requirements to operate with integrity. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and two years of experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of leases, bills of sale, warranty deeds, and purchase agreements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Knowledge of NCEL’s organization, operations, services, and policies.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and protocols.
  • Knowledge and understanding of creating and uploading reports in Business Objects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough review of the Retailer Lottery application and forms to ensure all required documents and information are submitted timely and complete.
  • Verify retailer applications for compliance.
  • Respond to applicant inquiries about processes and requirements. Provide technical assistance to applicants regarding the submission of their application or compliance materials, as necessary.
  • Communicate formally and informally with applicants to resolve issues with respect to errors and deficiencies in application or compliance submissions.
  • Create and update Promotional IDs with the Marketing department.
  • Act as backup for the supervisor
  • Process application fees and refunds; reconcile daily and monthly with Retail Accounting.
  • Prepare credit/background check reports for decision-making.
  • Enters initial bank account information for financial sweeps.
  • Tracks and reports incomplete applications on a weekly basis to the Sales department.
