About The Position

The Licensing and Placement Specialist provides training to resource homes and support to resource parents, and works as part of the family support team. The position may recruit homes depending on the contract, and follows policies, rules, and regulations related to licensing standards. It has a highly flexible hybrid schedule, with most working hours spent in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Two years of experience working with children and families in the social services field, including one year specifically in child welfare case management.
• Strong customer service focus, time management, oral communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with attention to detail.
• Ability to work productively and respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong skills in MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
• One year of experience with Therapeutic Foster Care and licensing.
