About The Position

The Licensing & Placement Specialist provides training to resource homes and support to resource parents, works as part of the family support team, recruits homes when applicable to the contract, and follows policies, rules, and regulations for licensing standards. The role is based in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule with flexible scheduling and an on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The annual salary is $43,800–$46,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
• Two years of experience working with children and families in the social services field, including one year specifically in child welfare case management.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong customer service focus, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with attention to detail.
• Ability to work productively and respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong skills in the MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
• One year of Therapeutic Foster Care and licensing experience.
