Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Clerical Assistant 3 or Clerk Typist 3 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • One year of complex clerical experience
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate licensure and certification applications to determine eligibility based on laws and regulations
  • Review transcripts and course details to confirm that applicants meet academic and training standards
  • Assess experience documents to verify required hours, periods, and relevance to the profession
  • Examine complex materials and prepare responses that address applicant questions and issues
  • Evaluate CE courses and providers to confirm compliance with Board requirements
  • Maintain complete certification records and ensure accurate licensure data entry
