About The Position

BrightStar Care Amarillo is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Borger, Pampa, and surrounding communities within a 30-mile radius. This role involves providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, educating patients and families, and collaborating with physicians and the care team. The position offers a pay rate of $30 per visit plus incentives, with weekly pay, and operates on a PRN basis within a 30-mile service area around Borger and Pampa.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel between patient visits
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Skilled home health experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities
