About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate, skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide personalized one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout Kingwood, Humble, and surrounding communities. The role combines clinical nursing expertise with meaningful patient relationships and supports patients in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent at home. LVNs provide individualized nursing services tailored to each patient's needs, including assessing conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, and communicating changes in condition to support continuity of care. The organization describes itself as Joint Commission Accredited and emphasizes patient-centered care, nurse support, and opportunities for career growth. Assignments may be scheduled during the day, evening, overnight, or on weekends.
Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license.
- Current in-person CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Active auto insurance.
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray.
- At least one year of nursing experience in home health, a clinic, or another healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate compassion, integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
