About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner while following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a 13-week local assignment in Wausau paying $40 per hour. Travel reimbursement is not provided. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
