About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care on a nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a 13-week assignment in Wausau, offering $40 per hour. Travel reimbursement is not provided. Requirements

Hold current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification is required; certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred, but not required.
