About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a 13-week assignment at a long-term acute care hospital in Tulsa, at $40 per hour. The position provides nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. The role requires current state LVN/LPN licensure, or compact licensure where applicable, and BLS certification. BLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment. Current IV certification is required within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification; AHA-approved BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; preferred but not required.
