Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN Cardiovascular Clinic
About The Position
Join UT Health East Texas Physicians as a full-time, day-shift Licensed Vocational Nurse in the Cardiovascular Consultants clinic in Tyler, Texas. The LVN is expected to be a competent, experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled clinician in pre- and post-cardiology unit care. Under the direction of licensed personnel, the LVN provides technical and human assistance to care for a defined group of patients and achieve quality patient outcomes. UT Health East Texas Physicians operates 90 primary and specialty care clinics and eight urgent care centers across the region. The organization is affiliated with The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine and provides education, research, and residency programs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Healthcare experience.
