About The Position
At Centinela Hospital Medical Center, the Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that address patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs. The nurse meets the communication needs of patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a per diem position on the Telemetry (6W) unit, with a day shift and an IV certification requirement.
Requirements
- Hold a current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse license issued by the State of California.
- Have BCLS upon hire and maintain current certification.
- Obtain ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current certification.
- Have IV certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in an acute-care Medical-Surgical setting is preferred.
