About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in a telemetry setting. Working within the scope of practice and state requirements, the LVN collaborates with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to maintain patient safety, provide comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience. St. Francis Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare institution in Los Angeles, providing diagnostic and treatment services across specialties including cardiovascular care, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and emergency and trauma care. It also offers education and outreach programs supporting community health.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- IV certification upon hire, where required by state.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Help maintain patient safety and provide patient comfort and care in the telemetry setting.
- Contribute to improving the overall patient experience.
