About The Position
Perform skilled nursing care to patients in their home, within scope of Nurse Practice Act. Perform skilled nursing care to patients in the Nolan County Jail, within scope of Nurse Practice Act. This role involves interaction with Sheriff deputies, general public, representatives of other health care facilities, physicians, other in-house departmental personnel, patients, and patient's families/caregivers.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse currently in the State of Texas.
- Experience of one year as a licensed vocational nurse and/or with comparable experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support must be maintained.
- Must have current driver’s license, and be legally able to operate your own dependable vehicle.
- Must have proof of liability insurance, motor vehicle record which complies with RPMH’s Automobile Safety and Liability policy #2520.
