About The Position
Screens patients and obtains pertinent information. Assists the physician or advanced practitioner during patient visits, adhering to age-specific needs. Supports the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed. Maintains exam rooms and the work environment. Provides clinic support as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience required.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
- Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
- CMA or RMA preferred.
