About The Position
Perform skilled nursing care to patients in their home and within the Nolan County Jail, within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. This role involves direct patient care, interacting with various internal and external contacts including Sheriff deputies, the general public, representatives of other healthcare facilities, physicians, and other in-house departmental personnel, as well as patients and their families/caregivers.
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse currently in the State of Texas.
- Experience of one year as a licensed vocational nurse and/or with comparable experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support must be maintained.
- Must have current driver’s license.
- Must be legally able to operate your own dependable vehicle.
- Must have proof of liability insurance.
- Must have a motor vehicle record which complies with RPMH’s Automobile Safety and Liability policy #2520.
