About The Position
Sunrise Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join its nursing team. The LVN provides high-quality care to residents, builds relationships with residents and families, and collaborates with the healthcare team. This is a part-time opportunity for an LVN seeking flexibility while continuing to work in post-acute care.
Requirements
- Current California LVN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Communicate with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for residents.
