About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Duties include taking vital signs, gathering data, administering medications, and providing patient care and treatments. This is a float position requiring a valid driver's license and proof of active insurance.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited LVN school.
- Hold a current LVN license issued by the State of California, Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
- Hold a valid BLS certification or higher, following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.
- For the float position, have a current and valid driver's license and active insurance verification.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience as an LVN.
- At least 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population.
- Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of geriatric patients.
- Bilingual Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
